Salsa Fabrics Quilter's Quickest Recipes

  Snappy Teriyaki
             Chicken:    2 Chicken breasts (boneless/skinless)
                               Mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
                               Apple Juice
                               Soy sauce
                               Brown sugar
                               Brown the chicken in large pot (season with spices you like)
                               Cook about 15 min. or until done and cut up in small pieces.
                               Add:   1 cup of water, 1 cup of apple juice.
                               Add:   brown sugar and soy sauce to taste.  You can add more apple
                               juice to change the taste.
                               Add:   vegetables and simmer till tender but crisp.
                               Thicken with water and flour.
                               While cooking chicken, start 2 cups of water boiling with 1/4 tsp. salt
                               and 3 Tbls butter.  Add 1 cup of rice and simmer 20 minutes.
                               Pour chicken and vegetable mixture over cooked rice.
                               Quick and good plus it's filling.
