Salsa Fabrics Quilter's Quickest Recipes

                     Skillet Fish Stew:

                               4 fish fillets, cod, catfish, perch, etc.
                               4 quarts water
                               2 peeled garlic cloves, left whole
                               1 chopped onion
                               1 large can stewed tomatoes
                               salt and pepper to taste
                               12 oz package of Skinner's Italian Mix (penne, rotini and shells)
                               Put fish fillets and water in iron skillet with lid, add salt, pepper,
                               onion, garlic and bring to a boil.  Stir in pasta when water is at
                               rolling boil and cook 5 minutes.  Stir in stewed tomatoes, lower
                               fire and cook covered for 20 minutes or until penne is tender.
                               Serve in shallow soup bowls with garlic toast or chunks of French bread.
                               A salad of 3-beans and bite-size lettuce chunks makes a filling meal!
