Salsa Fabrics Quilter's Quickest Recipes


     Quick Sausage
                Supper:  
  1# smoked sausage
                                 4  potatoes (peeled and quartered)
                                 8 oz. peeled baby carrots
                                 1/2 head of cabbage (cut in wedges)
                                 Place carrots and potatoes in a heavy skillet with a lid and steam
                                 with 1/2 cup of  water for 5 minutes.  Place cabbage wedges over
                                 vegetables and lay smoked sausage on top of the cabbage.
                                 Steam for about 10 more minutes.  Season as desired with salt and
                                 pepper.    Juice from the sausage will season the vegetables.
                                 Serve with french bread.
